Former member of Pilobolus Dance Company

Jack Arnold has a M.F.A. in Dance from the University of North Carolina in Greensboro, and a B.F.A. in Dance form the North Carolina School of the Arts. He is a former member of Pilobolus Dance Theatre and is now a freelance choreographer and performs professionally with various dance companies. Arnold will be a featured speaker with the W&L University Lecturer’s Series. He will speak about his tenure as a student at Washington and Lee University and, due to its lack of a dance program, his subsequent transfer to NC School of the Arts. He will discuss his professional career and the place of academia in dance. He will also perform a solo as part of the W&L Repertory Dance Company Performance.
