Plastic Musik Master Class for Dance and Music
Plastic Musik is a unique performance group that utilizes traditional percussion techniques, along with all-plastic instruments to produce familiar melodies. The combination of a revolutionary product known as "Boomwhackers," (www.boomwhackers.com) an energetic stage show, and surprising musicality provides an entertaining experience for musicians and non-musicians alike. When viewing a performance by Plastic Musik, the audience can expect to hear familiar themes ranging from classical favorites, to Motown classics, Hip-Hop hits, 80's movie themes, and original pieces all accompanied by a visually stimulating stage show.Created in 2002, Plastic Musik has evolved from three drummers (Jeremy Price, Patrick "Sean" Deel, and Kenny "bombpop" St.Clair) playing local gigs around town, into a five man performance ensemble which has performed at local schools and churches as well as Coastal Carolina University's percussion concert, and Busch Gardens theme park in Tampa, Florida. The group consists of Jeremy Price, Kenny "bombpop" St.Clair, Teddy Holcomb, Andy Burnette, Chris Kendrick and the youngest member of the group Justin Price. Each member brings his own personality and flavor to the stage.
