Direct from the notepad of Golden Palm Award Nominee Neil LaBute, Washington & Lee University’s Department of Theatre presents, for the world-famous Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2006, The General’s Players (comprised of 17 W&L students) in Tits & Blood; an amalgamation of two previously unknown works by the prolific director and playwright. Tits & Blood explores truth, perception, reality and fiction.

Neil LaBute, (In the Company of Men, Nurse Betty, The Wicker Man 2006 remake) collaborated with childhood friend Tom Anderson - WLU’s Designer & Technical Director – to bring Tits & Blood, a play that tests audiences’ willingness or reluctance to remove ‘the fourth wall’, to Edinburgh during August’s world-famous festival.

Liar’s Club is an interactive theatre experience, a typical example of LaBute’s ability to toy with an audience, executed with style by WLU’s promising theatrical students, where I Really, Really Like You explores and exploits both the cynicism and self-doubt of any given audience.

“…Neil LaBute does it rather more brutally in Tits and Blood” – The Guardian

“…this show will leave you feeling almost as used and abused as one of LaBute's female protagonists” **** - The Scotsman
