What happens when a nerdy skid row floral assistant finds an exotic, extra-terrestrial plant with a peculiar appetite for human blood? Murder, intrigue, glamour and fame! Little Shop of Horrors, written and composed by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, playfully spoofs the popular science fiction movies of the 1950s. Told through a series of catchy early rock tunes, this musical explores the dangers of excess and greed in a dark world where goodness struggles to prevail.
