Othello, The Moor of Venice
Written by William ShakespeareDirection by JD Martinez
Othello, The
Moor of Venice is one of Shakespeare’s most
passionate and heartbreaking tragedies. A fast-paced tale of vengeance,
jealousy and betrayal. The play is set in the decadent city of Venice
and in Turkish Cyprus. In the chaotic environment of a Muslim city
under Christian occupation, racism and cruel intrigue lead to the
destruction of an honest man and his innocent wife. This Keller Theatre
performance will star New York professional actor, Neil Shah.
